Control Center Gets New AI & Siri Features in iOS 18.4 Beta 2
Apple has just rolled out iOS 18.4 beta 2, and with it comes a fresh Apple Intelligence & Siri section in the Control Center. This update introduces new AI-powered tools and Siri enhancements—here’s what’s new.
Apple Expands AI & Siri Controls in iOS 18.4 Beta
With the latest beta update, Apple has revamped the Control Center by adding a dedicated section for AI and Siri features. Users will now find the following controls under Apple Intelligence & Siri:
Talk to Siri
Type to Siri (previously available)
Visual Intelligence
Among these, Visual Intelligence is the most significant addition—bringing a feature that was previously exclusive to iPhone 16 to iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 16e users.
Now, users can access Visual Intelligence in multiple ways:
Directly from Control Center
On the Lock Screen
Using the Action Button
Meanwhile, Talk to Siri functions similarly to pressing and holding the side button, instantly activating Siri in voice mode.
This update offers greater flexibility in interacting with Siri and makes AI-powered tools more accessible across devices. It will be interesting to see if Apple expands this AI & Siri section with additional features in future updates.
