Whether you’re freeing up space, backing up memories, or editing content, here are the simplest methods to move your photos and videos from iPhone to Windows.

Method 1: Using USB Cable (Direct Transfer)

This is the most reliable way and doesn’t need internet.

Steps:

1. Connect your iPhone to your Windows laptop with the original USB/Lightning cable.

2. Unlock your iPhone. If you see a pop-up saying “Trust This Computer”, tap Trust and enter your passcode.

Before you start

• Use a good USB/USB-C cable (data-capable, not charge-only).

• Unlock the iPhone and, if prompted, tap Trust This Computer.
